As my first public art project, it was one of biggest projects I ever had to tackle. As someone who’s only done small canvases, I thought this task seemed impossible to me. However, my only limitation was my mind and my brain tricked me into thinking it was going to be difficult. Once I started and progressed along on this signal box, I really enjoyed the creative process and the many compliments I received during those few weeks.

Having performance anxiety, I was little nervous painting out in public. But as people from Carson City honking and shouting out “Thank you!” as I worked on my signal box it turned out to be the most fun I have ever had working on my art
